I have had acne for 32 years. I have tried EVERYTHING that has come "down the pike" for treating it, so when I found out about sea buckthorn I figured "why not?"
I listened to another reviewer and gave this soap 3-4 months to work, and it has! Your acne may get worse before starting to clear, but HANG IN THERE!!
I have found that it does not work for me on stress or hormone related breakouts, but I have not had active acne since using this product.
Give it a chance, I'm telling everyone I run into that has bad acne about this product.
If you keep this soap out of standing water, one bar will last for up to 6 months. That and the clearer skin makes the price well worth it!

This is the best product! My daughter have tried everything available on the market to treat the acnes. We were advised by the friend about this product and decided to try. The price was great and an info about this oil is great. So, we got it! OMG! This is miracle! You can't imagine without trying. I'm awaiting for more of this oil for 2 of my cousins!

I also purchased this after watching Dr. Oz. I have not used it on my face but I have used it everywhere else. This is a high quality oil with staying power (a little goes a long way). The oil has a thick texture and is a deep orange color in a glass bottle with a wonderfully designed anti-mess dispenser. I don't dislike the scent but I wouldn't say it is a scent that I enjoy. The scent of the oil is hard to pinpoint; best described as earthy with a note of orange. Weleda Sea Buckthron oil is an excellent addition to homemade Body Butters. The oil also gives the butter a light orange tint.
Money well spend; highly recommend.

I got a pretty bad case of adult acne after I gave birth to my first child. I had terrible cystic acne all over my jaw and cheeks. It was recommended to me to use some products with Sea Buckthorn oil in them. I stumbled across this bottle at my local health food store and started using it on my face twice a day. Within in a month I noticed a significant improvement in my skin.
The oil absorbs well and smells great. It can leave your skin a bit orange looking which is why I use less in the morning than at night.
Over time this oil has made my skin smoother, old acne scars are fading and my face is not nearly as oily as it used to be. I highly, highly recommend this product! It has given me my confidence back.
